As an RBGE qualified Herbologist, Cotwild founder, Hamish has rich knowledge and passion for native Scottish fauna and flora. He has spent the last two decades growing herbs, edible flowers, wild indigenous plants and native trees commercially following biodynamic principles without using herbicides, pesticides or false feeds. He has designed planting schemes for many domestic, commercial and show gardens blending the maintained and manicured with the wild and free, with nature always at the forefront.

 

Regardless of how small or large your space or the project you are planning, he will guide you through skillful use of colour, height, texture and scent to create a perfect planting scheme with nature in mind. He will also discuss what you are wanting from your garden and look and examine soil types and how to get the best use of every space.
